Sasha Banks Removed From Event As WWE Return Rumors Continue

Sasha Banks and Naomi were indefinitely suspended since walking out during the May 16th edition of WWE RAW. The two were removed from the company’s internal active roster listing, but neither has been publicly released by the company. More signs of Sasha Banks’ WWE return have been revealed as well.

Sasha Banks and Naomi seemingly confirmed their WWE departure after changing their social media. Fans were under the belief both of them were really done with the company. Some even believed they were going to AEW in the future.

With Triple H taking charge of WWE Creative, fans had hoped they would return. Banks and Naomi have already agreed to deal with WWE. Earlier this week, Banks was advertised, under her real name Mercedes Varnado, to participate in the Team Donald vs. Team Ramsey celebrity flag football game to be held on Friday, August 5th. 

Interestingly enough, the Los Angeles Rams released the updated rosters for the game Thursday, and Banks’ name is no longer listed as part of either team. This is a likely sign that Banks will be returning to WWE. We’ll have to when she will finally be back.

We will have to see what happens next, but you obviously never know what can happen in WWE. Plans very well might have changed for The Boss when Vince McMahon stepped down. Keep checking back with Ringside News for details.
