Bobby Lashley Wants A Piece Of Gunther In WWE

Bobby Lashley worked hard to establish himself as one of the most dependable stars in WWE. The Almighty had two runs as the WWE Champion and fans wanted a third one for him, but that has not transpired yet. In the meantime, Lashley is also eyeing a formidable opponent.

The Almighty challenged Austin Theory for the WWE United States Championship at the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event. He would end up defeating Theory for the title, becoming 3-time United States Champion.

While speaking with BT Sport, Bobby Lashley talked about Intercontinental champion Gunther. The Almighty made it clear that he would love to square off against Gunther someday.

“I think an interesting matchup that I heard a couple of times is Gunther. I think just him being my counter on the other show. I think it’s something that is kind of intriguing. He’s a tough, tough, tough competitor. I mean, he’s been doing some big stuff and he just went right up to the top right away.”

Lashley also made it clear he still has a lot left to accomplish in WWE. He will also defend his title against Austin Theory at WWE SummerSlam. We’ll have to see whether Lashley will be able to retain his title or not.
