Matt Riddle was scheduled to face Seth Rollins at Saturday’s SummerSlam premium live event. The matchup was interesting since the two have some real-life heat. Unfortunately, that match will not be taking place this weekend in Nashville.

On today’s episode of “The Bump,” it was revealed that Riddle suffered an injury during Seth Rollins’ attack on Monday Night Raw. The bout has been postponed. A new date has not been announced.

“BREAKING: @WWERollins injured @SuperKingofBros with a vicious attack on #WWERaw that resulted in a brachial plexus injury (a stinger). Riddle is medically disqualified until full strength returns.

Due to this injury, Riddle vs. Rollins at #SummerSlam has been postponed.”

As of right now, a replacement opponent for Seth Rollins has not been named. It remains to be seen if he will still compete at SummerSlam. The match should be rescheduled for some point in the future.

SummerSlam kicks off at 7 PM Eastern on Saturday night with the pre-show. It’s disappointing news for fans who were looking forward to seeing the match. Stick with Ringside News for the latest on this developing story.
