WWE Totally Changes Up Commander Azeez’s Look After Sending Him Back To NXT

Commander Azeez used to be paired with Apollo Crews in the main roster. However, they eventually disbanded and are now both working in NXT separately. Azeez also changed up his look once again.

At Saturday’s NXT live event from Cocoa, Florida, Azeez appeared alongside Cora Jade. The two wrestled a mixed tag match against Ivy Nyle and Sanga and were unable to win.

He also changed up his look in a huge way and it marks the fourth iteration for him. Azeez signed with the company in 2016 after playing football in the Polish American Football League and German Football League.

He first debuted as Dabba Kato during the short-lived Raw Underground segments and then became Babatunde before transforming into Commander Azeez on the main roster. We’ll have to see how he will fare in NXT now.
