Goldberg is considered a legend by many fans and he is also a WWE Hall of Famer. The former WWE Universal Champion might not have been a fan of pro wrestling at first but eventually came to appreciate it as an art form. WWE might be planning something huge for Goldberg as well.

Bill Goldberg started his career back in WCW during the late 90s and cemented himself as an unstoppable force there. He eventually made his way to WWE in 2003 where he even won the World Title.

Goldberg left the company in 2004 and returned again in 2016, where he has competed in numerous high profile matches. Goldberg’s first match on WCW Nitro took place on September 22, when he defeated Hugh Morris. That episode of WCW Nitro took place in Salt Lake City, Utah.

According to per PWInsider, WWE has now scheduled the September 23 episode of WWE SmackDown for Salt Lake City, Utah. That would make it his 25th anniversary as well.

It is not known whether WWE will actually plan something for Goldberg at that time, but it is certainly a possibility after seeing what they did for John Cena. Goldberg is also a free agent following his loss to the Tribal Chief earlier this year, so we’ll have to see if Goldberg will be back in September or not.
