Bryan Danielson is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling, having honed his craft in numerous pro wrestling companies over the years. The American Dragon is genuinely passionate about the business, but he’s out of action due to an injury. Tony Khan also doesn’t want to rush Danielson’s return.

AEW had big plans for Bryan Danielson at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view. However, Danielson was not medically cleared for in-ring competition. Claudio Castagnoli ended up replacing him as Zack Sabre Jr.’s replacement.

As previously reported, Danielson’s return timetable is uncertain. While speaking on the Saturday Night’s Main Event podcast, Dave Meltzer stated that while Danielson is fine, Tony Khan doesn’t want to rush Danielson’s return from injury.

“What I can tell you is Bryan is fine but he’s not cleared to wrestle yet and Tony Khan is not going to rush him back.”

Danielson is expected to square off against Zack Sabre Jr. once he has recovered. We will have to wait and see when he will be making his return to the squared circle.
