Barbed Wire Deathmatch Added To AEW Dynamite ‘Fyter Fest’ Week 2

AEW really likes to put on special shows, because Tony Khan has figured out that he can pop a bigger rating. They’re going all out with the second night of Fyter Fest. Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston have been at war ever since Jericho turned heel and formed the Jericho Appreciation Society. The two delivered a beatdown on each other at AEW: Blood & Guts two weeks ago. They are set to battle in a brutal match soon enough.

Kingston took on international sensation Konosuke Takeshita in a hard-hitting match on Rampage this week. The Mad King then cut a promo post match where he put over Takeshita huge and challenged Jericho to an insane match during the second week of AEW: Fyter Fest.

The two men will meet in a Barbed Wire Deathmatch. Other members of the Jericho Appreciation Society will be locked inside a shark cage suspended above the ring.

The barbed wire match is the only bout announced for Fyter Fest Week 2 so far. AEW: Fyter Fest Week 2 takes place on July 2oth, Wednesday. Keep reading Ringside News for more!
