Road Dogg began his career in WWE as a wrestler towards the end of 1994. He eventually transitioned to a backstage producer role in 2014 and also worked as a WWE Performance center trainer, which suited him well. The WWE Hall of Famer is also in talks with a company for a return as well.

The company started the year in the only way they knew how and released numerous talents and members of staff from their contracts. This included the veteran Road Dogg, who had huge backstage role in the company.

While speaking on his podcast, Road Dogg revealed that he is in talks with a pro wrestling company for a return to the business.

“I feel like I’m everywhere. But look, I do feel like it’s time, you know what I mean? It’s that time where I don’t normally like saying this normally, but it’s where we’re going to get into making BG Games, Road Dogg, Brian James, whatever, a brand. To successfully make it a brand, we’ve got to come up with a freaking name first [laughs].

But you know, make it a brand and start trying to get my name out there and some of my knowledge out there to help,” he continued. “I’ve been in talks with a local wrestling company, not too local, but a wrestling company about doing something. So, really excited about my future. I am getting out and about and meeting everybody, and that’s really cool because I feel like I’ve been hiding behind the camera for a decade.”

Vince McMahon also wanted to make Road Dogg an Executive in WWE. It remains to be seen whether Road Dogg will end in AEW or any other top company.
