WWE released lot of people in 2021 and it seems that 2022 is not going to be any different. Road Dogg is a WWE Hall of Famer and he had a lot to do with NXT’s production. Now the D-O-Double-G is gone from the WWE .

Sean Sapp tweeted out to report the news that Road Dogg was a part of WWE’s recent personnel cuts in NXT. It was not noted exactly how long Road Dogg has been without a job.

WWE released a statement to the outlet concerning his new release while thanking Road Dogg for his contributions throughout the years.

WWE issued a statement saying “With the continued evolution of NXT 2.0, we’ve decided to part ways with some of the staff based in our Performance Center. We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them the best.”

We will have to see what Road Dogg does next. He has a family lineage in pro wrestling that goes back generations. There are also a few places where his talents might be utilized outside of Vince McMahon’s company.

WWE made a lot of changes to the NXT brand over the last year and it appears that some personnel cuts came with it. Now that Triple H isn’t there as much anymore it appears that Road Dogg isn’t going to be around either.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
