Chris Jericho has truly established himself as one of the most legendary pro wrestlers in the history of the business. He is also proud to be working in AEW and makes sure everyone knows it as well. The Wizard showed up on Dynamite this week, but it turns out that he didn’t even need to be around for it to happen.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the Jericho Appreciation Society was featured in a parking lot segment. It saw Chris Jericho instructing Tay Conti to attack Ruby Soho and injure her arm. That led to Conti slamming the door of an SUV on Soho’s arm.

According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, the Chris Jericho parking lot segment was pre-taped. The segment was filmed last week because Jericho was not present during this week’s tapings in Rochester, New York.

The segment was actually filmed last week, and perhaps even non-sequentially with Blood and Guts. Chris Jericho was not at this week’s AEW as he’s overseas on an Inside The Ropes tour.

This is because Jericho has been overseas for his “Jericho Chronicles” tour in association with Inside The Ropes and is expected back to the United States next week. We’ll have to see how AEW will continue booking the Jericho Appreciation Society in the coming weeks.
