Marcus “Buff” Bagwell became a sensation among internet wrestling fans after seemingly taking new approach to life, wrestling, and social issues. As it turned out, Bagwell’s social media manager was behind all of it. After several fans ordered merchandise and failed to receive it, Bagwell ended the business relationship. Now, he has taken to YouTube to address the controversy.

Buff Bagwell talked about his partnership with Michael Long, the employee who has since been let go. He said that Long dropped the ball and left his fans disappointed. Buff also talked about Michael’s criminal record.

“As you know, the last three or four months, I’ve been trending over a lot of great things and having a lot of fun doing it. But, the last few weeks, it seems like I’ve been trending over some things that are not so great, and so today I wanted to come out and clear some things up and apologize about several things…

… Unfortunately, a guy named Michael Long that was helping me with my merchandise dropped the ball and a lot of fans did not receive certain merchandise that they’d ordered. And to all of those fans, I do apologize from the bottom of my heart and I want you to know that I did not receive or see any of that money..”

Bagwell said that while he does have a team handling his social media, he is a huge part of it and loved interacting with his fans.
