AEW has certainly come a long way since its inception back in 2019. The product has undergone many changes since then, but quite a few improvements can still be made. Tony Khan is also open to doing a huge joint show with WWE.

The AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view saw the best wrestlers from both promotions compete in solid matches. It was a huge success, as fans were exposed to many new wrestlers they had never seen before.

While speaking on The Ringer’s Masked Man Show, AEW President talked about potentially working with WWE on a huge joint show. Khan made it clear he would be open to that.

“I’m not sure if that’s gonna happen [AEW and WWE doing a joint show]. But, I would be open to talking about that type of thing. It’s not crazy but it’s a bold prediction.”

We will have to wait and see whether WWE and AEW will end up working together on a joint show someday. Fans would love to see that happen as well.
