Kick-Off Show

Kayla Braxton is joined by Booker T, JBL, Peter Rosenberg, and Kevin Patrick for the Money In The Bank Kick-Off Show.

We see a video package highlighting the history of the Money In The Bank match and the many successful cash-ins. The panel discuss the women’s match and Braxton states that every woman that’s won the briefcase has cashed-in and won a title. Booker T says this match favours experience, and so he’s looking at Becky Lynch. However Raquel Rodriguez is the wild card. JBL thinks Alexa Bliss has been in enough big matches to give her an edge. They’re torn on who they think will win.

Next up for discussion is Carmella Vs. Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship. They say Carmella is very much the underdog in this match. Rosenberg says Belair is a step ahead of Carmella in every way. Patrick disagrees and says Carmella has more experience and she tends to step-up on big nights. Everyone except JBL says Belair will retain tonight.

The Street Profits interrupt the panel to talk about their match with The Uso’s. Montez Ford gets on the desk and the fans go wild. Ford says this is the biggest match of their career. His entire family is here tonight to watch him make history. Dawkins says they’re going to hit the strip afterwards with all the gold. Dawkins says they’re walking it to the beginning and starting again. Booker says they have to beat the Champions to be the Champions, and he’s siding with The Uso’s. JBL agrees, while Patrick and Rosenberg pick the Profits.

We see a video package for Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, followed by a replay of the full interview with Cody Rhodes from thisp past week’s RAW.

The panel talk Theory Vs. Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship. JBL says Theory reminds him of Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, or Buddy Rodgers: guys with tons of confidence and it worked out for all of them. Rosenberg says Theory isn’t just a mouth, he has all the tools to be the future of WWE. Booker T says the last time they saw someone come in and make such an immediate impact it was John Cena. Most of the panel side with Lashley

Natalya Vs. Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship is next up. Booker says Natalya is different than all the other girls, and she’s been around longer than anyone. They suggest Natalya is jealous of Ronda and what she has achieved since she came to WWE. The panel make their predictions and are split.

We see Logan Paul signing his contract to become a WWE Superstar. He says don’t get things twisted, he isn’t returning to WWE to team with The Miz, he’s coming to beat his ass at SummerSlam.

They finish-up by talking about the men’s Money In The Bank, with a heavy focus on Riddle. We even get a video all about Riddle. Booker T says Riddle has made him a believer and he thinks he will win tonight. Patrick says Seth Rollins will repeat history, and Rosenberg also chooses Riddle. And that’s it for the Kick-Off Show.
