Cesaro became one of the most underrated stars in all of WWE. Fans just wanted to see Cesaro win a world title during his time in WWE, but that was not to be. WWE was also criticized for not giving Cesaro enough time on the microphone.

The Swiss Superman left WWE earlier this year after his contract expired and didn’t sign another contract with the company. Quite a few people were shocked by this as well.

Cesaro made his long-anticipated AEW debut at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event. While speaking on his Hall of Fame show, Booker T criticized WWE for not giving Cesaro enough time on the microphone.

“I don’t think Cesaro really had a chance to go out and cut a lot of promos, especially perhaps not the way he wanted to cut the promos. WWE has a structure, it’s a lot different than AEW. A lot of the guys that go over there [to AEW], you think Christian would’ve been able to cut that same promo he cut last week in WWE? Probably not right now, being a publicly-traded company. Guys can go over there [AEW] and have a little bit more freedom. I think with Cesaro, I think we’re going to see a whole lot more, perhaps what Cesaro wanted to do in WWE. We’ll see.”

We will have to wait and see how Claudio Castagnoli will fare in AEW now that he is officially All Elite. Fans couldn’t be happier for Claudio, and they hope he will find success in the company.
