Johnny Gargano Explains Why He Will Be In Chicago On Day Of Forbidden Door

Johnny Gargano was considered the face of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and many more. He has had various nicknames such as Johnny Wrestling, Johnny TakeOver and more, and they are all for good reason. Gargano also explained why he’ll be in Chicago on the day of Forbidden Door.

Gargano left NXT earlier this year and since then has been enjoying his time away from pro wrestling. He accomplished a lot in NXT, and fans simply couldn’t get enough of him.

Danielson revealed that he won’t compete at Forbidden Door and stated that he will be replaced by a special opponent. Zack Sabre Jr. would face a handpicked opponent. Then he continued trolling fans. While many believe Cesaro is on his way to AEW, Johnny Gargano will also be in town that day.

One of the names commonly discussed was Johnny Depp. Gargano announced that he’ll be in Chicago. He then explained why he will be in Chicago on the same day as Forbidden Door.

I promise you this is ridiculously coincidental and has been booked for months. I’ll only be in Chicago for like 8 hours! *I also realize in saying this that only like 5% of you are going to believe I’m actually telling the truth.

While Gargano might not be the handpicked opponent, it could be someone like Cesaro as well. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Gargano.
