Roman Reigns has been dominant force in WWE as the Undisputed Universal Champion. The Tribal Chief has run roughshod over the WWE main roster since his return back in 2020. There is also the chance of WWE splitting up the world titles again.

Since winning the undisputed title, The Tribal Chief has carried both championships. He also recently retained his title against Matt Riddle on Friday Night Smackdown.

According to Fightful’s paywall, the title is officially referenced as the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. However, the WWE and Universal Championships are still recognized individually.

This means that both titles could be split in the future and be recognized separately on RAW and Smackdown again. There is also the chance of Reigns dropping the titles due to his lighter schedule as well.

Before that, he will be defending his titles against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam in a last man standing match. We’ll have to see how that will turn out to be.
