Theory challenged Bobby Lashley to posedown on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The segment surprisingly main evented the show. Vince McMahon’s protege was doused in baby oil for the strange segment.
That is expected to continue this week. Theory’s gimmick will incorporate bodybuilder-like poses for the time being. Plenty of baby oil is expected for his appearance on this week’s Raw after Theory used the substance as a weapon against Lashley.
A report on plans for tonight’s Raw from behind Fightful’s paywall noted that the posing gimmick will once again return to Raw. While many fans would rather see Theory wrestle, it seems as though the company likes the idea. There were no major details reported other than that Theory will be posing with baby oil heavily incorporated.

Theory is on a collision course with John Cena. Cena is scheduled to return to WWE on June 27 in Laredo, Texas. The obnoxious posing routine is likely intended to get the fans to hate Theory even more than they already do.
It’s an interesting way for WWE to build to a match. Cena and Theory have gone back and forth on social media for months. Eventually, The Champ will show up and put a stop to the posing segments, but for now, Austin Theory will be oiling up and showing off for the WWE Universe.
