Ariya Daivari has been working for WWE as producer on a trial basis for the past couple of months. Many fans thought Daivari’s chances of landing a full-time job with WWE ended recently. Daivari wrestled for AEW at a recent taping of their YouTube show, Dark.

Daivari defeated former Impact Wrestling star Caleb Konley in his AEW bout. While it seems difficult to believe, that has not affected his status with WWE. Ariya Daivari is still listed as a producer on a trial basis.

The news comes from behind Fightful’s paywall. It seems that WWE didn’t react at all to Davairi wrestling for the competition. AEW isn’t the only place he has competed, either.

Ariya Daivari has wrestled for NJPW’s US brand, Strong, as well as in the NWA. This all occurred during his trial run as a WWE producer. Daivari was an active competitor in WWE until he was released in the Summer of 2021.

Daivari competed in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic and was a regular on 205 Live before being released. At the time, he was confident that his talent would keep him in the professional wrestling game. Considering his recent bookings and work for WWE, patience has paid off.

We will have to wait and see if Ariya Daivari is brought in as a full-time WWE producer. Of course, things would change under those circumstances. For now, the company appears to be fine with him working elsewhere.
