Rob Van Dam made his wrestling debut in 1990, defeating Dango Ngyuen and traveling through the Michigan Independent circuits. Since then, he has wrestled for multiple promotions and has won championships throughout his legendary career. RVD’s last WWE appearance was for the special Raw Reunion show in 2019, and he was inducted into the 2022 WWE Hall of Fame. While RVD hasn’t made any televised wrestling appearances recently, a recent show in Japan showed that he can still bring it to the ring.

The 51-year-old made his in-ring debut at Cyberfight Festival this past weekend. RVD teamed with Stinger(HAYATA & Yoshinari Ogawa) to defeat Daisuke Harada, Kaito Kiyomiya, and YO-Hey. Although RVD has aged since his days battling the likes of the Dudleys and Taz on ECW, he still performed like his old self. Check out some of the highlights below.

During the post match interview, RVD was then confronted by NOSAWA who challenged the hardcore legend to a hardcore match at Nippon Budokan in July. So far, RVD has worked four matches and isn’t planning on slowing down. Interestingly, RVD has said in a interview that he would still like to work a Royal Rumble match if WWE would offer him the opportunity.

RVD’s last pro wrestling stint as a full-time member of the roster was with Impact Wrestling. His last wrestling match with the company was against Sami Callihan.
