WWE has a lot of things going on and they rely on social media to keep the buzz going. This can sometimes lead to interesting tactics to generate attention.

Ringside News was told that Edge is not injured as some have speculated. We were told that he would not have taken that beatdown on RAW if he was injured.

A report came out yesterday that Edge did not like the “supernatural” direction that the stable was headed, so he was removed. A tenured member of the creative team told us that “the speculation about Edge, and everyone guessing is exactly what Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, Ed Koskey, Edge and anyone else involved want.”

We were also specifically told that, “they like that chatter. So they will leak out these rumors to anyone who will take the rumors and post them to increase the speculation.” The company is trying to get as much attention on The Judgement Day as possible, therefore, “they think that ‘chatter’ is good for that group and that storyline.”

We will have to see how things pan out from this point on. Only time will tell where Edge’s storyline with The Judgement Day leads.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
