WWE is always trying out new things and it seems that Shanky’s new gimmick is that he likes to dance. He even tried to dance up on Ricochet’s real-life girlfriend Samantha Irvine on SmackDown this week. There were a lot of opinions about that booking move, including from a WWE Hall of Famer who understands the risks of dancing on WWE television.

Bully Ray live tweeted during SmackDown and he had a very interesting remark about Shanky’s segment. After saying that nobody will get over for dancing on WWE television, the Dudley Boy also included a clip of himself dancing on Vince McMahon’s stage.

Acting the fool and dancing will never get over.

Dance Shanky Dance!!

We’ll have to wait and see what WWE has planned for the skyscraper known as Shanky. He has a lot of potential and is obviously giving it his all in this current role alongside Jinder Mahal. Only time will tell if the dancing helps Shanky out, but Bully Ray certainly had an interesting take on things.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
