Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti are engaged to be married and that announcement came with reactions from all around. A lot of fans are happy for the AEW couple, but some people couldn’t help but troll them a bit.
Conti and Guevara are two of the most hated heels in AEW at this point. Their engagement also came just over six months after they went public with their relationship. There were no shortage of one-liners and a couple of them came from the AEW locker room.
Nyla Rose couldn’t help but comment on what she saw transpire over Twitter. She cracked a joke about a pearl necklace while commenting on Tay Conti’s nice ring.
Damn she got to see the tower! Wonder if she got a pearl necklace too or just that gorgeous ring
Nyla Rose followed that up with a joke that was a bit more PG and it also made reference to The Spanish God’s daredevil antics, “$40 says right after proposing Sammy tried to back flip off the tower.”
We’ll have to see when the lovebirds set their wedding date and whether it’s during a segment on AEW Dynamite.
