Johnny Gargano’s NXT contract ran out and he departed from Vince McMahon’s company. He hasn’t arrived in any other televised pro wrestling company yet, but there is an open door for him to make a WWE return.

During the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that Gargano has an “open door” to make a WWE return. That being said, even though there is more money in WWE than AEW, it is doubtful that he would get the same push.

Gargano has an open door to WWE but also the realization that he’ll be able to make money but not be pushed since NXT is focusing on younger people and while he may be able to get a main roster spot, it’s unlikely they’ll do anything with him.

We will have to see what happens with Johnny Wrestling. A lot of people, including verified AEW account, thought that Johnny Elite was Gargano when he made his debut. Of course, that ended up being John Morrison, but there is still a lot of hope that Gargano will make a decision about his pro wrestling future soon.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
