Hiroshi Tanahashi Answers CM Punk’s Challenge For Forbidden Door

AEW and NJPW are joining forces for Forbidden Door and that Chicago event will be a big one on June 26th. Now we know about one epic match that is going down.

CM Punk and FTR kicked off the night this week on Dynamite by taking on, and defeating Max Caster and the Ass Boys. Then CM Punk took the microphone and he had a short and impactful promo to cut.

Punk said that he knew his Forbidden Door opponent was backstage and he cut to the chase. Then Hiroshi Tanahashi came out to a huge ovation in L.A.

It was later revealed that CM Punk and Hiroshi Tanahashi will battle at the Forbidden Door event. We’re not sure what the rest of the card will look like, but this is a huge dream match, for sure.
