MJF is frustrated with his current contract. The Salt of the Earth wants more money because he believes he’s worth more than he was when he signed with AEW. The situation with MJF and AEW is the latest newsworthy piece for the pro wrestling world.

According to PW Insider, MJF has isolated himself from rest of the AEW locker room. There’s a feeling behind the scenes the two parties are not on the same page.

The outlet previously reported that MJF didn’t attend AEW’s call when they tried to contract him to show up at the Double or Nothing Fan Fest on Saturday. A fan claimed they saw him at a casino.

Sean Sapp also reported on this situation where he said that the situation isn’t “seeming pleasant.”

The MJF-AEW situation isn’t seeming pleasant. Working to find out what I can.

MJF is booked for a match at the upcoming Double or Nothing pay-per-view event. The Pinnacle leader will took on his estranged associate Wardlow in a match that has been months in the making. You can check out the card for DoN right here.
