AEW faced several scenarios for the start time for Friday night’s episode of Rampage in Las Vegas. It all depended on what happened in the National Hockey League. There were some confusing scenarios, but we now officially know what time Rampage will air.

After the St. Louis Blues defeated the Colorado Avalanche to force a game six in their playoff series, AEW was locked in for a 6:30 PM start. Dave Meltzer cleared up the situation on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio. After the hockey game, TNT will air a countdown show for Double or Nothing.

“The Colorado Avalanche lost in overtime to the St. Louis Blues in overtime which means that there will be a game six, which is the Friday night game on TNT. So, Rampage will air live at 6:30 Eastern, 3:30 Pacific. The live show in Vegas will start at 3 PM.

They’ll do a couple of matches, probably for Dark Elevation because they only did two matches for Dark Elevation today [Wednesday] so, they’ll do the rest of Dark Elevation on Friday and then the one-hour Rampage show will end up being live. The countdown show will be whenever the hockey game is over.”

AEW also announced the new start time on their Twitter account. Fans who are attending the show should make sure to get there early if they don’t want to miss the matches being taped for Dark Elevation. Rampage itself will kick kick off at 3:30 PM Las Vegas time.

Now that the start time for Friday’s Rampage is settled, all that’s left to do is watch. There are still a handful of things to set up for Sunday’s Double or Nothing. Then, the pay-per-view goes live at 8 PM Eastern.
