Austin Theory is one of the young and rising stars of WWE, who made a good impression as part of Johnny Gargano’s stable, The Way. Theory’s stock continues to rise with every passing week, especially thanks to his storyline with Vince McMahon. Theory also revealed what Steve Austin told him before their WrestleMania 38 spot.
Austin Theory competed against Pat McAfee at WrestleMania 38 Night 2. However, he was unable to defeat McAfee but had a solid performance nonetheless. Right after that, Steve Austin made a surprise appearance and delivered the stunner on Austin, McMahon and even McAfee.
While speaking on After The Bell, Austin Theory talked about his WrestleMania 38 spot with Steve Austin. Theory revealed that Austin gave him exact instructions as to what he should do during their spot.
”I remember him telling me when I was standing in the corner and he was arguing with Mr. McMahon. He’s like, ‘I’ll give you this look, and when I give you this look, start throwing. Come at me and start throwing some punches.'”
Theory learned about his spot with Steve Austin at the last moment. Theory is currently engaged in a feud with Mustafa Ali as well. We’ll have to see how long Theory will remain the WWE United States Champion. It seems that he has the Texas Rattlesnake’s nod of approval.
