WWE had to change up a lot of plans when Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out. Now we are getting a better picture of the situation and the motivation behind Banks and Naomi’s protest.

As Ringside News exclusively reported, Banks has “alienated” everyone backstage in WWE at this point. Many also blame Banks for manipulating The Glow into leaving with her.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE’s plan for Banks and Naomi would have seen them get featured stories for the next month. They didn’t like those plans, so the two decided to walk out instead.

Naomi was going to win the [six-pack challenge] match and she was actually supposed to pin Sasha to win the match, so they were gonna be the last two left. Then Sasha was going to Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Title at the pay-per-view and Naomi was gonna challenge for the RAW Women’s Title against Bianca Belair.

They were not happy with this, because they were gonna lose the title matches. They wanted to see Vince. They walked out during the show and put their belts down.

It was reported that there was “nothing else to it.” The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions simply didn’t like their booking for Hell in a Cell, so they left. Banks and Naomi were slated to have featured spots on WWE television for weeks, but they walked out instead.
