Maxwell Jacob Friedman has made no qualms about his desire to earn more money as a professional wrestler. MJF’s contract with AEW is set to expire in 2024. He is sure to be one of the hottest free agents in years.
MJF has played along with all the speculation. He even responded to reports that WWE has an interest in bringing him in. There have also been rumors that Max has been looking for more money from Tony Khan.
When a fan on Twitter claimed that the WWE Performance Center hasn’t produced any talent, MJF fired back. He named several major stars that have come through the PC in the past. Several of them have been world champions in WWE.
“Liv Morgan. Big E. Bianca Belair. Baron Corbin. Naomi. Alexa Bliss. Charlotte Flair. Roman reigns. Just to name a few.

MJF coming to the defense of WWE is sure to set off a firestorm of discussion from tribalistic fans. The fact of the matter is, whether he is being a heel, posturing for more money, or just stating his opinion, MJF is right. The WWE Performance Center has created plenty of huge superstars.
That won’t stop the online discussions and speculation. MJF has become one of pro wrestling’s master heels. The ability to turn an obvious point into a major controversy is the reason he will command huge money from whoever convinces him to sign on the dotted line next.
