WWE is brining Money In The Bank to fans on July 2nd and Allegiant Stadium will be a very loud location on that Saturday night. The Money in the Bank ladder matches are some of the most exciting bouts on WWE’s calendar, but a commercial for the premium live event made a lot of fans wonder what is going on this year.

Cody Rhodes said in the promo for Money in the Bank this year that the winner of this year’s Money in the Bank match will get an opportunity to main event WrestleMania. His made a lot of fans assume that WWE changed up the stipulation for their yearly multi-person ladder matches.

Ringside News was told that the winner of the Money in the Bank ladder matches are not set for a WrestleMania match. A tenured member of the creative team told us that, “no one knows why that is being said.”

This subject has been brought up in production and creative meetings as well. It’s unknown why they haven’t addressed this on WWE television yet, but they have a month to do so.

It was confirmed to us that, “the only guaranteed title match is the winner of the Royal Rumble.” This is also “a major source of confusion with writers and producers.” So, the fans are not alone in their confusion.

We’ll have to see who wins the Money in the Bank ladder matches this year. At least we know that anticipation of unexpected cash-ins is not going away this year.
