Virgil mostly stayed on the mid-card during his stint with the WWE. He eventually turned into a fan favorite when he hit Ted DiBiase with the Million Dollar Title Belt at the 1991 Royal Rumble. In recent years he reached meme status time and time again. Now the 59-year-old has provided a scary update on his health.

Virgil took to Twitter on Saturday to disclose that he’s suffering from stage two colon cancer. For those not in the know, Virgil suffered massive strokes over the last few months. This is not good news at all.

t’s really sh*tty right now. Too make things worse I know have stage 2 colon cancer. I am a fighter but need your help. I cannot afford any of the medical bills and would love your support. https://paypal.com/pools/c/8JI7ugPF4x… love you guys

It is heartbreaking to see a veteran of the business fighting for his life. Virgil managed to create a place for himself on social media due to his hilarious antics during the past few years. Our thoughts are with him at this time.
