Thunder Rosa Wants To Wrestle In A Blood & Guts Match

Thunder Rosa has made a name for herself in AEW through a series of violent, hard-hitting matches. The AEW Women’s World Champion has built rivalry with Britt Baker that she believes will continue for many years. Rosa thinks she can push the envelope even further.

After a lights-out match in AEW made Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker household names among wrestling fans, the two feuded over Baker’s AEW championship. Rosa finally wrestled the belt away in bloody cage match. The reigning champion doesn’t want to stop there.

Speaking with the Women’s Wrestling Talk podcast, Thunder Rosa outlined a couple of different match types she’d love to take part in. Rosa wants to do an Iron Woman Match, echoing Serena Deeb’s desire to do the same. She would also love to wrestle in a Blood and Guts match, one of AEW’s signature ways to settle a score.

“I will definitely love to do an Iron Woman Match. I know Serena mentioned that last week, and I will second that. It hasn’t been done at AEW.

You know, I like to break barriers and be the first one to be part of that. I would love to do one of those. I would like to do a Blood & Guts match. I think that would be so much fun with all the women that we have, we have really good women on our roster. Yeah, we have a lot of fun. I can go crazy. So I like to do that kind of stuff.”

Time will tell if Tony Khan wants to do a women’s Blood and Guts match. The company recently filed for a trademark on the term. Tony Khan plans for Blood and Guts to happen this year. Maybe Thunder Rosa will once again break new ground for All Elite Wrestling.
