Eric Bischoff is a veteran in the pro wrestling business and is undoubtedly one of the greatest minds to have ever worked in it. He is well aware of the changing landscape of pro wrestling as well. He also isn’t a fan of AEW’s storytelling either.

Many fans would agree that WWE’s product has fallen a lot when it comes to quality. The current product has a lot of flaws including 50/50 booking, feuds that don’t go anywhere, teams splitting up for no reason and storylines not making sense.

For a long time, WWE’s storylines have been criticized and for good reason. Other fans end up enjoying the storylines AEW puts out, especially Adam Page vs Kenny Omega’s storyline.

While speaking on the 83 Weeks Podcast, Eric Bischoff stated that WWE’s stories are severely lacking in many ways. However, Bischoff added that they are still far better than AEW’s storylines.

”WWE’s attention to detail and commitment to structure and story is severally lacking and has been for a long time. I’ve been saying that since probably 2014 or 2015 and I still say it, but I think it’s far better than what I see in AEW. You could tell me all day long, ‘yeah, but here’s the story, here’s what’s going on.’ Great if you feel that way, but the vast majority of people in this country don’t and wrestling fans don’t.”

We certainly wonder if pro wrestling as a whole will improve their storylines, especially WWE in this case. Many fans would agree that the majority of pro wrestling storylines have gotten stale over the years.
