Sammy Guevara & Tay Conti Win AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles

Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti have created quite buzz in the pro wrestling world. The two continue to show off their relationship on AEW TV, Sammy’s vlog and their social media.

The duo recently won the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions at TripleMania XXX: Monterrey. Sammy and Tay bested three other tag teams at the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide-hosted event.

It was revealed during the match that Sammy had faked his injury he claimed occurred during his ladder match with Scorpio Sky for the AEW TNT Championship this past Wednesday on Dynamite.

Conti originally partnered with AAA luchador La Parka Negra against the champions, Arez and Chik Tormenta, and the teams of Lady Maravilla and Latigo and Kommander and Sexy Star.

Sammy is one again a title holder and this time he has his girlfriend to hold the strap with him. It’ll be interesting if AEW decides to incorporate their latest win into a storyline. We’ll have to wait and see.
