For many fans and pro wrestlers, Triple H is a legend in the world of professional wrestling. The Game has certainly helped put over numerous talents over the years and also helped change WWE in many ways. Becky Lynch is also thankful to Triple H for a good reason.

In the early days of WWE, women wrestlers were simply not given much focus and were merely an afterthought. That eventually changed thanks to the Women’s Revolution in WWE.

This was more apparent in NXT, thanks to the likes of Bayley and Sasha Banks’ feud with each other. While speaking on Drew Garabo live, Becky Lynch made it clear that she is thankful for how much Triple H helped women in WWE have equal representation and opportunities.

“Triple H never treated us like we were any different than the guys. Always made sure we were represented on NXT with great stories, with time, with opportunity. And it just grew from there, and it was a spark. There should be no reason that I am not the main event. And there should be no reason that we are not getting stories, and not getting the time. Not being in the position to entertain the crowd in the way that we have been in the past few years.”

Interestingly enough, AEW has been criticized in a big way for their lackluster women’s division. This comes around a time when NXT announced a female Breakout Tournament will start soon. Triple H is no longer over NXT, but his influence might not be 100% gone.

Triple H retired from in-ring competition and is now focused on creating the next generation of WWE Superstars in NXT. He is content with his position in the company right now and that’s what matters in the end.
