AEW Announces ‘Forbidden Door’ Pay-Per-View With NJPW

Tony Khan hyped a big announcement during Dynamite this week. It came in Pittsburgh and Tony Khan was on hand to let the cat out of the bag, but he didn’t do it alone.

Tony Khan introduced the New Japan Pro-Wrestling president, but then Adam Cole interrupted him to make the announcement himself.

Sunday, June 26th will see the United Center in Chicago get a historic show. AEW is teaming up with NJPW to present a pay-per-view event called “Forbidden Door.” This announcement was very well received by fans in Pittsburgh.

Jay White was also on hand as he came out and cut a promo. It seems that the Forbidden Door has been officially kicked down and Tony Khan is going to make sure it stays open.
