Angel Garza has been part of the WWE family for quite a few years now. He is part of The Lethal Lovers alongside Humberto Carrillo and is currently one of the featured teams on WWE television. Garza also opened up about an issue he has with how fans perceive him being Latino.

The Friday Night Smackdown star is proud of his Latino heritage. However, it also has its fair share of drawbacks. This is largely due to him being compared to Eddie Guerrero.

While speaking with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Angel Garza addressed being compared to Eddie Guerrero. He stated that not every Latino wrestler will necessarily be the next Eddie Guerrero.

“I don’t know if I like second parts of things because they always compare you. When I first made my debut, it was here comes the next Eddie [Guerrero]. There is Santos Escobar and the same thing. Stop comparing the characters and enjoy who we are. Comparing characters is fun, but Eddie was Eddie. Nobody is going to be like Eddie.”
