Concern Over Keith Lee’s Motivation In AEW

Keith Lee had a memorable run in NXT, which made fans wonder if he would have a solid main roster run in WWE as well. Of course, that really didn’t happen at all. There is also concern over his motivation in AEW now.

Keith Lee debuted in AEW a couple of months ago to a large fanfare. Eventually, his booking somewhat fizzled and now he has been teaming up with Swerve Strickland.

While speaking on the Busted Open Podcast, Bully Ray talked about Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland’s match against Ricky Starks. Bully Ray expressed concern over Lee’s motivation in AEW.

”I am really not sure if Keith Lee is where Keith Lee needs to be. So, I’m just going to just lay it out. Listen, I was one of the first ones to tell there is actually something wrong with Keith Lee. Not like there’s something wrong with him, like, he’s not able to find himself the way he was able to find himself in NXT. I said that when he was called him up to the main roster, and I still believe that now.”

We will have to wait and see whether Keith Lee will eventually end up getting booked properly or not. Fans simply want AEW to do Keith Lee justice in the end.
