Tony Schiavone Is Concerned By MJF’s Promos

For many fans, MJF is currently one of the best heels of this generation and perhaps of all time. MJF became huge star in AEW in a short time and has consistently delivered in all of his feuds. Tony Schiavone is also concerned by MJF’s promos.

The Salt of the Earth buys his own hype in a huge way. His promo game is almost without an equal, which means he can sometimes cross a line not anyone else might cross.

While speaking on the Rob Brown Show, Tony Schiavone talked about MJF’s promo skills. Schiavone admitted that he was concerned after a very religious interaction between MJF and the crowd in attendance during an AEW show.

“MJF is like, well he’s out of his mind. They were chanting one night about his religion, being Jewish, and he said something about Jesus Christ. When he said it, I remember thinking, ‘He is out of his freaking mind.’ I went backstage and I went, ‘why would you say something like that?’ He said, ‘Did you hear what they were chanting about me and my religion?’ ‘Yeah, but stop.’ He concerns me.”

MJF lost to Shawn Dean during this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, thanks to some interference from Wardlow. We’ll have to see how the company will continue to book Wardlow and MJF’s feud.
