Rick Boogs tagged with Shinsuke Nakamura against SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Uso’s at WrestleMania 38. Unforunately, the duo failed to capture the titles from the brothers.

Boogs was hurt while attempting to lift both the Uso’s on his shoulders. He crawled his way towards Nakamura before making a tag. The entire incident was caught live on camera.
WWE commentator Michael Cole confirmed during the event that Boogs suffered torn quadricep patella and will require surgery. He was escorted back to the gorilla on a stretcher following the match.
Bryan Alvarez noted on Twitter that WWE had to change the finisher following Boogs’ injury. The injury could possibly keep him out of action for months. Hopefully, he recovers soon.

Apparently, Rick Boogs injured his knee mid-match, and the finish to the opening Smackdown tag match was changed. Usos retain as a result.
I'm wishing Boogs a speedy recovery.#WrestleMania38 #Wrestlemania #WWE pic.twitter.com/pNHbX5l3dH
