The beloved WWE Superstar took to Twitter and responded to a clip from Ohio State University football star Harry Miller on the Today Show. In the clip, Miller explained why he needed to withdraw from a football career to focus on his mental wellbeing. Big E revealed that he wanted to take his life when he was younger.

“In my early 20s, I wanted to be famous so that when I committed suicide, someone would care. I never thought I could be free of the shear weight of my depression but here I am—alive and truly happy. Proud of you, @h_miller76.”

Big E could also be out of action for at least six months, after suffering a neck injury following a scary spot on a previous episode of Friday Night Smackdown. We’ll have to wait and see when the former WWE Champion will make his triumphant return to WWE television.
