John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company to the best of his abilities for over a decade. He was the face of the company and Cena worked very hard to maintain his top position as well. Ric Flair also doesn’t think WWE needs Cena at WrestleMania 38.

The Leader of Cenation was last seen at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view, where e failed to defeat Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. Since then, Cena has been absent as he had Hollywood obligations to fulfil.

While speaking on his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, Ric Flair talked about John Cena possibly returning at WrestleMania 38. The Nature Boy stated that he doesn’t think WWE needs Cena to be at the event to sell tickets and get views.

“No [WWE does not need Cena]… I mean, I’d love to see John but I don’t think they need him, no. John is so wrapped up in Hollywood now and doing so well. He’s in South America right now for a couple of months. That’s a big sacrifice and a big commitment when you start doing acting full-time.”
