Mustafa Ali had been working in WWE for quite a long time and was one of the most talented in-ring competitors in the entire company. He is also the former leader of Retribution and for some reason, Ali’s luck in WWE was never great for one reason or another. It seems Ali fired back at a fan who criticized his character as well.

Mustafa Ali’s previous program in WWE saw him involved in a feud/mentorship with Mansoor on Monday Night RAW. Mansoor did not have any say in the relationship whatsoever. After that, he developed a controversial character which was ultimately nixed by the company after a while.

Ali requested his release from WWE, which came as no surprise for many fans. However, WWE would deny Ali’s request as well. Ali recently took to Twitter and fired back at a fan who called him a boring wrestler with no personality, as Ali made it clear he does do character promos.

“I appreciate the kind tone in your suggestion. please allow me to share mine. before suggesting a performer should work on something, ask yourself if your suggestion is based on assumption or research. a quick glance on my timeline will show you numerous “character promos.”

No one yells at curry when he hits a shot from the bleachers. same idea. just my idea of having a good time. hope that makes sense. be well y’all.”

WWE also nixed huge WrestleMania match between Mustafa Ali and Kofi Kingston last year. We will have to wait and see whether Ali will be able to leave WWE one day or not as fans simply want WWE to free Ali.
