Thunder Rosa gave AEW fans a scare when she was reported to have been dinged up on this week’s AEW Dynamite. Rosa was tagging with Mercedes Martinez against Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter when she suffered what was believed to be leg injury. Fans immediately became concerned about her status for the Revolution pay-per-view.

Rosa is scheduled to take on Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Sunday’s PPV. Rumors swirled about her availability after the injury. There was not a whole lot of information to go on.

It appears that Thunder Rosa will be able to compete on Sunday. Fightful Select issued an update on the supposed injury. The outlet reached out to Thunder Rosa and other sources in AEW who all denied that she is injured.

“On Friday, rumors circulated that Thunder Rosa had sustained an injury on this past week’s AEW Dynamite. Fightful reached out to Rosa and additional AEW sources who vehemently denied that she was injured and said that the AEW Revolution match would continue as planned.”

Rosa was seen with her leg wrapped during the match. It was not related to an injury, according to Thunder Rosa and the other sources. The match at Revolution will go on as planned.

AEW fans have been looking forward to the title bout for quite some time. Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa had a wild lights-out match that made them both stars in the promotion. They’re hoping to top that on Sunday night at AEW Revolution.
