Asuka has been the subject of a lot of conflicting reports. Just days ago, one outlet said Asuka was currently on WWE’s internal inactive list. Many expect her to return by the end of February. That clearly did not happen.

The Empress of Tomorrow called out false reports on her health in the past. Last August she was said to be ready to wrestle again. The Japanese superstar patently denied it. The injury was legitimate and severe enough to have required surgery.

The latest report says that Asuka has been cleared to wrestle by WWE. In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported the news. There was no further information given.

“Asuka is now cleared to return after shoulder surgery”

If the report is true, Asuka should be returning sometime soon. Whether WWE would wait until after WrestleMania to start booking her is unknown. The WWE Universe would love to see her on the grandest stage of them all.

We will have to stay tuned to see what’s next for Asuka. There have been so many different reports on the matter that it’s tough to tell what’s true. Hopefully, Asuka has fully recovered and will be back on WWE television soon.
