Vince McMahon dropped a major piece of news during his spot on The Pat McAfee Show today. Fans went into the anticipated interview without any idea of what to expect. It could’ve been anything from a WWE storyline segment to a legitimate chat with a man who seldom does such appearances.
It turned out that Vince McMahon had plenty to say. In McMahon’s first live interview in fifteen years, there was far more for fans to chew on than the normal company line. McMahon revealed that he would personally induct The Undertaker into the WWE Hall of Fame.
After the announcement, Vince backpedaled. McMahon wanted to clarify something about The Undertaker’s loyalty. The two never once even discussed the idea of Taker going to WCW.
“By the way, getting back to The Undertaker. Undertaker and I never had a conversation about him going to WCW. Not one. I never asked him. He never said anything about it. Not once.”
Throughout the interview, McMahon stressed loyalty as one of his favorite virtues. The Undertaker was nothing if not loyal to Vince. The two had a great relationship over the years.
