Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and former WWE Superstar Jon Moxley would on the main roster back in 2012 and were known as The Shield. They remain one of the most recognizable tag teams in recent memory.

In fact, the stable would go on to become one of the most dominant and popular stables in the history of the WWE and truly elevated the statuses of all three Superstars involved. The Shield would break up and reunite on a few occasions. After Jon Moxley’s departure from WWE back in 2019, it seems the Shield is done for good.

While speaking on The Player’s Experience, WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle talked about The Shield and their individual success after splitting up. Angle believes Roman Reigns has seen the most success among the three.

“I genuinely believe all three of them were great performers – Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns, but I do think Roman Reigns just set apart a little bit more than the other guys and had a little more success.”

Roman Reigns also previously made it clear he is not interested in another Shield reunion either. Reigns is set to square off against Brock Lesnar in a Winner Takes All match at WrestleMania 38. We will have to wait and see whether he will be able to win the match or not.
