Many fans would agree that Keith Lee had an amazing run in NXT as he was both the NXT and North American Champion. Fans had high hopes for him on the main roster in WWE but it turned out to be a massive disappointment. It seems Lee wants to rebuild his brand as well.

After being given the Bearcat Lee gimmick which failed to get over with fans for good reason, Keith Lee was released by WWE last year. This certainly came as a shock to fans and pro wrestlers alike.

Keith Lee shocked the world as he made his debut on previous episode of AEW Dynamite, where he beat Isiah Kassidy in the first qualifier for the Face of The Revolution Ladder Match.

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Keith Lee talked about his goals in AEW. Lee revealed that he wants to rebuild his brand, which was somewhat marred in the past, hinting at his WWE run.

My last foray and the return to Dallas was such a weird experience for me, and not because of the fans, the fans are always fantastic. As a matter of fact, when I debuted for AEW, I had forgotten what it was like to hear them when they recognized it was me. Those are the moments I look forward to, the excitement of the people and what they bring. Being in your home state is something very special. I’m looking forward to all those returns, the new battles, the opportunities and earning my way through things and rebuilding a brand…I don’t feel like it’s broken or busted…I feel like it was somewhat marred and putting that stamp down of dark, bold ink of ‘this is who Keith Lee is.”

We will have to wait and see how Keith Lee will be booked in AEW as fans certainly have a lot of expectations from him and want to see Lee redeem himself in the company.
