Matt Cardona Calls Out Sting For NWA World Title Match

Matt Cardona was known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE as he worked hard to establish himself in the company. While he found moderate success in WWE, Cardona was never seen as a top star. It seems he called out Sting for a huge match recently.

The former WWE Superstar was not used to the best of his abilities until his release as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts back in 2020. Cardona made it a mission to reinvent himself following his release and did just that.

His most recent accomplishment saw him defeating Trevor Murdoch for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. A fan recently took to Twitter and suggested Matt Cardona defend his NWA Title against Sting.

The fan even tagged Tony Khan to let the match happen. Matt Cardona saw the fan’s tweet and replied to it, as he called out Sting for a match and made it clear he is more than open to defending his title against the Stinger.

We will have to wait and see whether Tony Khan will actually allow Sting to challenge Matt Cardona for the NWA World Title as fans certainly want to see the two duke it out.
