Tay Conti Really Wants A Match With Asuka

Tay Conti is ready for Asuka. The current AEW star found a new home in Tony Khan’s company after her WWE release, and that was for the best. NXT made her miserable and ultimately, she was granted her release from the company in 2020 as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. It seems Conti wants a piece of Asuka as well.

Conti then made her way to AEW and has now seen a significant amount of improvement in her in-ring skills. This is something she had never seen during her time in WWE. 

While speaking to Highspots, Tay Conti talked about her goals for this year. Conti revealed that she really wants to have against WWE Superstar Asuka as she is one of Conti’s favorites.

“I really want to wrestle Asuka one day. She’s one of my favorites. I really want to wrestle her.”

Tay Conti continues to improve with every passing week and there is no doubt she will become the AEW Women’s Champion one day. It remains to be seen whether Conti will ever duke it out with Asuka in the future or not.
